Hey people!
As a few know, I started my first job on Tuesday and it's right up my street ( Two mins walk away, but it's washers and dryers...lol). Anyway, so on Tuesday I went into an outbuilding where they store scrap stuff and stuff they just have, stuff to rob parts from, I went into get a fascia, but at the back I noticed a Hoover New Wave thing and it instantly grabbed my attention. I spent the afternoon thinking ''Do I realy need it, what does it need, it's in a right state'', and left it. Wednesday, and I got engaged in a conversation with my boss and a few words later, the magic words ''You can have it, it's been there all the time we've been here'' were spoken! Victory! It's been untouched for over six years, it was there when he first started here and thats all he knew about it.
So, lunch hour Wednesday, I dug it out. Upon a first inspection, the machine looked okay. It was covered in thick grime, dirt and ivy at the back but didnt look too bad. Door opened, two Ariel dispenser things, hoses but more importantly...a user manual! Great! Despite being shut up for a few years, the machine was immaculate inside, quite litterally.
This is where the writing ends, I've written enough and will comment on progress I made with pictures in posts to follow. Anyway, I'll leave you with the first photo.
Updates later! Please comment!
Chris!
