Hi Guys
It is truly strange that, after years where no one knew what one was, everyone discovers the A3064 Selectamatic at the same time!
Like you guys, I discovered the manual a short while ago - probably a month or so.
It was late at night and just could not believe it when i saw it.
Question though - having looked through the manuals available, the selection of classic machines is quite honestly weird, in the extreme!
Why would hoover, of all the machines they have produced, place on their website instruction manuals for the A3268 black facia Computer Control, the A3008 Keymatic de luxe and the A3064, but only for TWO Logics, one of which was itself a non standard weird machine with a max spin speed of 1000rpm.
These machines are, how shall I put it......niche machines!
and yet they are the machines placed on hoovers website - instead of say the A3110, A3350 etc i.e mass produced machines, which sold en masse.
Anyway - yep I found it too and, the same night/morning, stayed up until one in the morning finally completing my A3060 through A3064 line-up montage.
Enjoy guys and thanks for posting a thread on the A3064 Rob.
Cheers
Paul
p.s does the image below and the instruction manual jog anyones memories at all?
p.p.s the facias of the real machines were more metallic than the image below, but it gives a damn good idea of what a great series of machines they were.
