Hi guy's just a quick question about my washer, When i fill the washing drum the water is also filling the spinner, is this normal or is some sort of valve stuck, it washes fine and spin's fine it's just that the spinner fills up with water when not spinning, any advice welcome. Thank's Kev.

As you are probably aware the spin pump is used to empty the wash tub so it sounds like the pump valve is either stuck or the "flapper" inside is worn and is letting the water seep through from the wash tub into the spinner. The valve assembly clips off the pump and is fairly easily removed so you can see what is happening as the valve is rotated. I may have a spare myself, otherwise Matthew (Keymatic3203) may be able to help.

Vacbear58, You were spot on, one of the seal's on the valve had come off not allowing the unit to effect a seal, I cleaned up the unit replaced the sealing "bung" and heypresto one working 3310 again, Happy day's. Thank's for your reply it's much appreciated. All the best Kev.

Great skeggy

That saves me a good paragraph of bumbled explaining lol. Great to read its working as it should. On your other thread of powders, I agree with the others and use low lather powders, both for the low lather and easy rinsing but also you see far more wash action than when the wash tub is hidden under inches of foam. lol.

My twin tub mantra, especially when using them with friends or on gatherings is that if `you put it in, you can rinse it out', i.e. very easy to generously dose up the wash tub, but another to be turning the tap on and off, hosing down the clothes, spinning it off etc 4 or 5 times, to get a clear rinse water pumping out, especially on models without auto rinse like yours.

enjoy
