Isn't it grand, Glenn? It was just *gorgeous* in Dallas this weekend when I was there for our holiday party. It was kind of an uncharacteristically icky chilly weekend in LA, so it was perfect timing. It was raining when I left on Saturday. Beautiful when I returned yesterday, but chilly.

There was an outdoor patio area at the party, and even at 12:30 am it was still quite pleasant to be out enjoying it. Even women in sleeveless cocktail dresses were comfortable.

Warm weather makes the holiday season such a joy. We're due to be back up in the low 70s and sunny for the upcoming holiday weekend. I'm looking forward to spending some time walking the beach!

Glenn, it will be very close to freezing at night in Dallas and heere by Thurs. night/Fri. morning and with the chance of precipitation, ... Hold your horses, the weather will change in another hour lol.

I think that Summer has returned to Florida, it was 87 here yesterday and already this morning it is up to 76. Sure seems strange...

64°F here according to the forecast, but I strongly disagree...more like the high of 71°. Combined with a whopping 94% humidity, it's irritating, really. I was running the AC (both here and in the Studio) yesterday!

However, I do see a cold front coming in the remainder of the week, thank God.

I'm actually finding it a little uncomfortable for the season (but I also am an ardent student of Project HAARP and scalar "Weather Wars", so, of course, this all adds up in my mind...

40's to lower 50's in rural southwest Minnesota. No snow. That may change tomorrow and Thursday. We're supposed to get freezing rain changing over to snow. I hate a brown Christmas, so I'm looking forward to the impending flakes.

And I'm home sick today. Really. I'm sick. I'm not taking a mental health day. No, no, no. Would never do that. Seriously. I'm sick.

;)

47 here yesterday...same for today

the foot of snow we had on Dec 1 is almost all gone, save for the mounds where it was piled high by the plows...

I was thinking yesterday I could almost switch back to my leather coat and put the heavy down-stuffed bomber and scarf away, its been that nice. I am still wearing gloves though.
I don't mind the cold so much, but can do without the snow.
I think though I'd rather have it below freezing, mainly because that will kill off all the nasty bugs and germs going around.

Frigilux there is nothing wrong with taking a mental health day!
I had one last week myself!

Mid 70's in DC yesterday.

I enjoyed it immensely. It totally doesn't feel like Christmas, though.

Warm in the South

Here in North GA and Atlanta temps. have been in the low to mid 70's getting real close to breaking some record temps for this time of year.

In 1984 temp. on Christmas eve was a high of 18 and the low down to zero. it really seemed like Christmas! However no snow.

It was 70 yesterday now it's 50 and suposed to be getting colder by christmas..

Not to my liking..I want it 80 degrees and in shorts for christmas, like florida or so. cal

In Australia its the Opposite

Hey Guys,

Usually by this time of year where I am, we have daily highs around 90-100deg with 80% plus humidity. Lows are usually in the mid 70's.

This year we're having maximums in the low 80's and minimums in the low 60's, although they are prediciting a hot humid Christmas day.

I'm not going to complain, because the weather is beautful, its actually been cooler than spring was :)

While Celius is law here now for the last 20 plus years I still sort of think in Fahrenheit which gives you more of a leeway, there aren't enough degrees in Celsius LOL but the basics are pretty easy..
water freezes at 0
water boils at 100
comfy temp in the house 21 or 22
too hot for me outside 30 depending on the rh.

But since we're a border town here all the radio stations either side give the temp in both.

MY heat is still not working right and it's 55 deg. out..May flurrie on christmas eve.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Sorry.....Just don't like snow or even the threat
