Is a brand example, but there are other brands, if not other makes.

Do you have one, do you like it?

My landlord has allowed me to put in a disposer, and while I'm in the same general area, I'm thinking about a "Steamin' Hot," or similar.
(Looks like I'm going to be here more than another year or so, might as well get the place to a point where I am almost content with the kitchen.)

I've always wanted one.

Lawrence I put one in the kitchen of our previous house in the city and loved it. It was an ISE but the cheapie model which I happened to find one day on big clearance at a local hardware store, for something like $30. Luckily all I had to do was remove the black sprayer, tighten it in and already had a plug in under the cabinet. Didn't have to drill any extra hole thru the sink. There's also one of the fancier models at work in each of the small kitchen/vending machine areas and people do use them for their instant soups and tea etc. I'd have one here but we're on well water and I only have a limited amount of drinking water from my r.o. system under the kitchen sink, not much room left under there for anything else

My Sad ISE experience

When I redid my previous kitchen, I put in all the goodies including the ISE instant hot unit. We loved it.

Two years later, I was under the sink doing a repair and I looked at the ISE unit and it was completely rusted and the plastic was disintegrating off it. What the heck!

I have no answer for it, perhaps my tap water how alot of minerals in it or something. It was past warranty, and I was prepping the house for sale so I just let it go. If I were to do it again, I would contact the company or someone in the know to discuss potentially filtering the water or what else needs to be done for preventative maintenance.

I was absolutely shocked at how mine deteriorated. No other deterioration to my new faucets, fixtures or dishwasher however.

Hope your luck is better!
