Hotpoint 1701

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Sorry Lee, but I have buried your recent posts amongst the servicing bumpff. The manual is for the original 1701 and will most definitely cover your machine.

I am impressed that you are able to remove the fascia stickers! I have one that such treatment requires meeting out on to, but am just not brave enough and as the fascia is so rare I daren't risk an attempt.

I definitely have replacement buttons for you and I might have a chrome door that is less pitted - problem is that they are deep in storage and I cant get to them for a while:-(
But they are features that can be easily retrofitted after the bodyshell has been restored.

Will post some of the part out photos soon.
Paul
p.s if you decide to touch up the silver covering on the back of the fascia, to try and fill in the blemishes, let me know what shade you find is best match.
