Finshed, Time 1hr 9 min's that 36 mins faster than my bendix and the wash was better, I thought that the water level might be to high, its much higher than the liberator was when I had it (that another story) Just to bottom of door glass the 95622 is 3 inc more is this right?

Dose any one have a Hotpoint service guide for the 95622 especial a wiring diagram a copy would be appreciated as I am also designing my own program for a washing machine, self taught myself electronics and have got it working on a studio compact machine but would like to base it on the Hotpoint 95622 (using motor and pcb from a scrap machine)and need to know how the speed module is connected to the timer. ??

Wow these pics are fantastic! Brings back many memories! And i've totally amazed you've taught yourself electronics and are making your own PCD! Well done you! I have a service manual of this! I will try and scan it for you when i get time!

Yes I have the service manula you need for your project,
Paul may also have a copy that he could scan in for you and email across,
If not I will have to photocopy my manual and snail mail it to you.

Great it would be fantastic to have a service guide, the project is in it’s early stage, taken 6 months to get this far, sort of abandoned it when I found the 95622 and the compact studio machine I was using as host had to go, NO ROOM AT THE INN, I striped all electrical components out and kept them but the motor is on a different ratio to a full size machine, and I don’t know how to build my own speed control so would like to use motor and speed control that work together. Nice to recreate the distinctive sound the early Hotpoint’s make. I hope that when it’s finished I can fit the unit to any machine which the timer or program has got to the end of it’s life, and have simple push switches like the indesit moon has and 2 X 7 segment display to show program and progress.

I really still cant get over how clean your machine is - pristine only just seems to do it justice!
Great to see an almond hotpoint in action again. Many thanks for posting the piccies.
I know that Rob has the service manual for the 95620/622 - I will let him deal with that for you.
I have a copy of the fluffy information i.e the Product Information.
This contains the sales pitch from hotpoint to the salespeople, such as comet, currys and their own reps.
Then has technical info, installion bumpf and finally programme info.
All very fluffy and not much use for your PCB project, but fun nevertheless. If you would like a copy, e-mail me your address and I will sort out copy for you.
Once again - congrats on that great machine.

So all we need now is one from an actual 95620.

Back from the days when machines were built solidly for reliability and a much longer life than the stuff we get sold today.
Consequence of this was a hefty price tag - the 95622 (and 95620) would set you back £360 quid!!!
Expensive, but probably a lot more reliable than a machine costing that price today.
ahhh, the good old days.

Now I need to find a new home for me and her as she is in parents garage and some one keeps putting garden tools by the side, I open the door today to find a dirty great power washer by it covered in mud.

Know how you feel, most of my collectables, (bar one zanussi) are at my parents house! As we don't have room here.Were hoping to move next year when i get a better job!
Anywho, my brothers and my dad go shooting weekly. They clean their guns in the garage next to my machines. Occasionally they get my machines mucky. luckily tho, after given them an ear chewin! they wipe them down now if they get anything on them! lol!
Thought i'd share a wash level pic of my old WM43! Just fills under the rim of the drum on this one! I miss this machine. Silly me selling it and replacing it with a current crappoint!
