Hotpoint aquisition

Just picked this up from a local ebay advert. It seems to dry well although the timer switches off intermittently in the last hour of drying at the 30 minute point and just before the cooling phase.

Anyone any idea of the date of this machine?
The model is 17460 and the serial number 66007/33.

Nice to see some chrome, dont get that anymore!

Noticed a couple of these on eBay in the last few weeks - none close enough! Grr...

My only suggestion that something has got stuck in the timer control in its near 30 year lifespan.

Yes I do. Not so much as I used to and I don't have a regular church post any more. I might look for another one soon though. I just cover for other people for Sundays, funerals, etc., at the moment.
