I would definatly like to learn more about these dryers from the 50s - 60s does anyone have brochures or tech information?

I did post this one before and I do have specs on how the maytag condenser and frigidaire filtrator operated now I am just in need for the Hotpoint condenser models operated.

Yes this is where it started in the USA and we had them in the 50s and 60s now we dont make them here but in other countries they are still being made.

Yup, as an example Candy has both a top loading and front loading water condensing dryers.
I just wonder how much water was used by the machines back in the 50s or 60s! Anybody knows?

OLD US WATER CONDENSING DRYERS
The HPs used 1/2 GPM and the MTs used 1/3 GPM, while this seems like a lot of water [ and it is at 20-30 Gallons Per Hour ] keep in mind that these were powerful dryers and will easily dry 2 to three times faster than a new european water or air condensing dryers. To a large degree you get back what you put into something in terms of energy and water use in performance.
