In November last year Im moved into my current house and needed a new fridge freezer.

Currys were running the Hotpoint FF200 on a half price promo and being the largest and cheapest for the money I took the plunge and laid down £270.

Yes I had those Indesit thoughts and worries but considering it offered what I needed for the money available it was my only option.

Reasons for buying.

Had to be Frost Free.

7 ft tall to accomodate the fridge space I needed and the freezer basket space. I like to cook big batches and freeze. also needed the fridge space for entertaining and holding the slow cooker crock pots and casserole dishes.

White in colour.

60cm wide to match up with my kitchen units opposite.

What do I have to say about it now?

Well its worked flawlessly.

Food is cold, the fan assisted cooling works brilliantly and quietly.
Shleves and commodity racks are good and solid.

Freezer baskets are a rubberised plastic and not prone to shattering.

The door is solid, good heavy hinges.

Plenty of racks to store small jars, eggs, wine bottles, 4 and 6pint milk. 2ltr pop bottles.

No hidden corners, its a breeze to clean.

Got to say it but good on you Hotpoint im chuffed!

Our mam & dad has the same one, it must be well over 2 years old now can't fault it. Love the buzzer & the flashing light in the fridge if you forget to close the fridge door.

Glad you are pleased with it; seems solid from what I've seen of it. I've taken delivery of Hotpoint appliances recently in my new place and have to say their current stuff is definitely an improvement on their older (Indesit-made) ranges... watch this space :)

Looks good to me.

Is the Hotpoint brand in the UK built by GE as it is in the U.S.?

There have been so many popular brand name changes over the last couple of decades that it's hard to tell.
