Hi guys.

Just a quick thread to show you what has been going on as far as mine and robs machines are concerned.

Firstly - the Hotpoint Liberator 1826.

Apologies if you were clicking here, expecting news that a GEC derived machine has been acquired. Unfortunately not yet, but we all live in hope that one will turn up eventually.

No......its just an update on the Zanussi derived machine, in the form of the 1826.

A few months ago, she underwent bearings replacement, with the following results.

now for the difficult bit. Involved tearing out the top outer bearing, befor the inner bearing could be knocked out. 33 years meant that they were a b1tch to remove...

The Rumble Master Is No More

Brilliant Paul, the satisfaction of replacing knackerd bearings cannot be described, i love studying the old ones....dip them in white spirit and have a good look at them .

But fitting the new ones is even better, peace of mind follows.........and when your doing it to a classic machine its even better!

Lovely fots Paul

Thanks

Ps the ice box works :-)
