I would say that's TOL for sure.   In fact, it just occurred to me.  My Godfather and his wife had this exact model, including color, except it was a built-in.  It replaced a Tappan Dual-Drench dishwasher which was in their brand new 1962 or 1963 home.

Fascinating little hybrid convertible there

It has the very crappy and very LOUD GE wash arm/motor/pump of the early seventies married to old-style 1960's Hotpoint shower-tower, racks and what looks like a porcelain Hotpoint tub with Hotpoint-ized GE controls and cycles including what looks like the rinse-glo dispenser that must be "cocked" first and the standard range of cycles on most GE TOL dishwashers. I'd love to spring for this 'cause it's very pretty in its coppertone dress, but I'm saving myself and my money for Top Loaders these days unless something irresistably fabulous comes along. I hope someone here gets this; it's too nice to give to a crusher.

the rinse-glo dispenser that must be "cocked" first

Ken, It's easily confused givben that's where the rinse-glo knob used to be (approx).  But that's the sani-rinse on or off knob.  That GE motor and wash arm washed a heck uv a lot better than the true Hotpoint with the black bakelite wash arm and reversing motor.  Far mroe intense water jets out of the above wash arm.  And reached better in the corners of the opper rack.

This is the first GE design Hotpoint series washer designs. I believe this was a TOL model 1974!

Peter, thanks for the great ad!!  There's a 5th cycle button on the built-in in the ad.  I guess that's the wash-natural dry  cycle mentioned in the text.  Maybe the portable for sale either didn't offer that natural dry feature (as meaning it wasn't being sold on the market yet or it's a slightly older model than what's in the ad above).   Or the portable version simply didn't offer that feature like the built-in version did.
