Hotpoint Ultima WT960G Is getting a new drum

Friday i heard a nasty noise come from hotpoint and one of the paddles has fallen off (not a supprise) and part of my best shirt got Shreadded in it. We called an engineer out and he says no point getting a new paddle ur bearings are shot.

After nearly a daily wash in it im not supprised so now we got 5 days to wait til next drum arrives, which one u think its gonna be the indesit one seen in the now anticlockwise WMD962 Ultima or same as my old drum.

If we dont recieve drum the LG F1443KD6 Is coming, as we have enough for it from appliances online.

I had a look at appliances online and they have a good choice of machine.

I to like the LG machines. I am not sure what I am gonna do with my 5 month old Bosch maxx 5 that has broken down. They came out last week and said it needed a new door intelock, and cant fix for another week. So when fixed, might sell it and have a look around.

When I spoke to someone on the Comet chat line she said Bosch are made in Poland as she has been to factory. I am sure the top end of Bosch are German.

Like LG washing machines, mine is still going strong without any repairs, approx. 4 years old.

The new hotpoint's, aint seen one yet but what drum do they have? little confused, thought they had the same drum, with the big circle in middle.

Washing Machines

Does anyone have any information on the Gorenje WA74163. They look nice machines, but do not know how realiable they are.

Also, any information on Panasonic NA-147VB2WGB, also looks a good machine. I saw it in Comet, had metal door catch and metal hinge.

Bosch Maxx 5

Last thursday an engineer came to repair my Bosch Maxx 5. He said it needed a new door interlock and would come on 14th July to repair my machine.

Today I received a call saying he has been unable to get the part and it will be one day next week before they can come to repair my machine.

I am so annoyed that I am without a machine nearly 1 week now, looks like its gonna be 2 weeks before they can fix it. What would happen if I had a family of say 4.

Gonna phone Which Legal team tom, and get their advice.
