hi guys, well on the last thread i then said the hotpoint was fixed, because of a few connections wiggled and tightened. now the problems back, the one its always had, and i was just wondering if any of you have a 9534 wiring diagram i could use to determine which is the connection at fault

Did you try changing the module? I think either that or the timer are at fault.

no its to do with some connection as when there all taken off and put back on hard it works fine. i just dont know which its likely to be

Timer

Diagram attached is for timer No 904-2199-04 if it is a different number let me know as I may have the relevant chart, the modules on this range are very different to earlier machines if one connection is dropping out the machine can act very strangely indeed.

theres 2 numbers on the side of the timer 514 011 and 16584

just been on webcam with servisslimline and he says my timer is completely different to his, so along with the newer door glass and drum, this machine got one of the newer timers too.
so does that make any difference to the wiring diagram?

Short answer is I don’t know, I don’t have any reference to the numbers you have given above.

The best thing I can suggest is using a tester to check each wire from timer to component for a circuit that’s each and every one and also remove and replace each one, labours and timing consuming but the only way.
