Not quite sure what the problem is. Hot water line to the hot water side of the water valve (usually says "Hot" or has an "H" by it). Same goes for the cold side.

Ditto: Not quite sure what the problem is

If it is the angle of the spigots at rest it looks like you will have to cut a notch in the dry wall/plaster to accomodate the connections.
If you only intend to hook up one machine for now you might want to get some covers to screw on the exposed spouts.
Also, those splitters look like there intended for COLD water use only. The splitters I got are brass w/out valves so if i only have one machine hooked up I cover the open ends with the matching brass covers from Home Depot, BTW.
Those splitters with valves are generally plastic and not suitable for hot water use over time.

The first step is to make sure those Y-adapters are brass and NOT pot metal. If they're pot metal, or you don't know what they are, take them out immediately. I've read some real horror stories about stress failures with pot metal adapters -- I mean people losing their entire homes due to flooding.

ok they will go back to home depot tommrow..i wanted the brass ones... couldnt find them...can one take a stainless steel hose, from each spigout and then attach a y fitting on the other end and hook two machines to that

The issue is that i cant get two sets of hoses on there

And yes there will be two machines hooked up at all times..

Sure.

thats what i thought.. so take the braded stainless steel hoses and attach those to the spigout...from the other end of the hose, attach the y fitting and attach the hoses to the y fitting
