That dryer is NOT from 1945. It's more like at least 1955 just as we all know that's a 1955 Unimatic.
This is almost exact scene of one of my mom's best friends laundry room in Dallas, after they moved from Houston. Except her dryer had an auto dry push button near the tempt control on the left hand knob. She had the washer and dryer from new until she replaced them in California with a poppy 1-18 pair.

Washer is a 1955. The dryer is a 53 or 54. I have a similar dryer myself!
