This is a rack to hold a GE broiler pan. I have a GE broiler pan and cannot figure out how to use this as it doesn't seem to fit. It has a hook on the side, not sure at all what this if for or how this works. Any advice?

To hold it in what? The storage drawer of the range? Did it come with the range? If so, call GE. If it came with the broiler pan, again, call GE.
There were ranges that had two brackets/guides welded to the underside of the oven in the storage compartment and the broiler pan would slide into them to store in an out-of-the-way place. Maybe this hooks to the underside of the oven in the same area for similar use.

Jet, IIRC all the GE broiler pans have that one off-set hole in them. Have you tried fitting your new toy into the hole? Perhaps it is something to be used with rotis?
