I have the answer! A visit to Mike M (electroniccontrl's) amazing collection and it's on! Just add laundry and watch go!..thanks to Mike for a great afternoon, including a tour of the Meyer May Frank Lloyd Wright house a few blocks away in historic Grand Rapids.

Great pictures!

Thanks for sharing!
That Philco is beautiful. Too bad it doesn't work.

Great cookbook.
I'm a little ashamed to say, all I knew of General Foods was International Coffees.

fantastic....wish I was there.....

those agitators looks familiar...

but true, it doesn't take a lot to have a great day of washing entertainment.....from one guest, to a whole crowd, fun can be had, every time!

Was just in Saugatuck last week

And was at the same antique mall looking at exactly the same things - down to the Philco instruction manual.
I did come home with a Philco radio for $10. Parts piece.
Lots of fun. Didn't stay at the Dunes though. Cabin looks nice.

Yes, those Dunes are the Such Fun!!!!

Long ago, my sister, niece, nephew & late-Mom while she was able to be World's Greatest Grandmother, went to the dunes in Saugatuck, among some of the other great attractions, there...

Riding up, down, and all around in those customized '70's Dodge trucks---oh, where was I, those decades ago?!

Definitely a "bucket list" for me, among others, I hope I can get to see, do & have that $$$$ for (well, even if I were to start vintage appliance collecting, and continue being the hard copy media junkie, I am, maybe?)...

Calico Kitchen

I LOVED the Calico Kitchen!
What was especially fun was the crazy diversity of the crowd having breakfast on a Sunday morning - mostly boys closing up their weekend of fun at the Dunes across the street.

It is now a Thai / Sushi restaurant or similar.
