how many people have a portable dishwasher?

Portables are great!

We just bought a house with an original 50's kitchen, ergo no appliances built into the cabinets. Our brand new Kenmore portable is a full size DW that can be converted easily into a plumbed-in DW when we finally get around to building the island. Love the butcher block top, too...although the ferrets (we have 5 of the fuzzbutts) have scooped out all the soundproofing.
Go to Home Depot, and ask one of the plumbing guys, they miht be able to help.

ours was like this in the 1970`s

old kitchenaid simular to this one ,all I have is left is the wood cutting top I have after dad built in in at the new home he built in 1979 & a recording I made of it.that I`m listining to right now as I`m writing this.awwww nice memories

Charles - the remains of a once proud kitchenaid. It is almost sad to view 'the head' and 'feet'. It does look like you have put the parts to use though. What have you used the top for all this time?
