I had to laugh when i saw this on ebay earlier, £250 !!! very high for quite a run-if-the-mill machine that was produced in the thousands. Plus it has no wheels & agitator !!

If its missing parts like the wheels and agitator-would only give like $20 bucks or so for it.-Swap shop price.As it is the machine is unusable.So it wouldn't be worth much of anything unless the seller can come up with the missing parts.
 
More and more, people discover that eBay is where dreams go to die. The suckers who will just swoon as they hand over harder than ever earned cash for marginal material just don't seem to exist. We can do our part by giving reasonable valuations when asked. I think an excellent starting basis is to ask how much it will cost them to have it pulled from a basement. Often, once they get an estimate, they seem willing to part with said treasure for much less.
