Maybe someone should do one of those ads where it seems as though the Lady Of The House is home alone, ready to use it--it's out of the crate & in the living room, and the man looks as though that's his first delivery for the day!

I was naive enough to think that (a) most buildings had a chain/rope and pulley system setup exactly for this reason and (b) that most people who delivered stuff in big cities knew how to use them. Otherwise, how do they move stuff like beds, sofas, pianos etc that do not fit in the elevators?

But yeah, it's at the same time funny and ouch!
