Some have asked me how on earth I luck up at auctions and estate sales...Well,its no secret, Im off two weekends a month, Don is off every weekend, so if there is a sale, one or both of us will be there, Usually I check Estatesales.net and Auctionzip , I normally check within 50 miles on these websites, then, we buy three local papers on Friday of every week, The Mocksville paper, The Winston Salem Journal and the Salisbury paper, then if there is more than one sale that looks good, we split up and go, of course Don knows what I want and I know what he hunts so we work together,the most important thing is, if it looks really good, be there 1 hour early, get in line or get a number if they are given out, then if you see something DO NOT hESITATE!! if you do someone else will get it!!!Some weekends you strike out, but some are great!!
