Help Support :

I picked up a few boxes of Cascade at Kroger last year.  They are large boxes but I was able to fit them in my largest vacuum sealed bag. If you have a large quantity some of those big storage bag you connect to a vacuum cleaner should do the same thing, you really want to keep moisture out.

Powders in a cool and dry place. Well sealed plastic containers work well if detergent is decanted from original paper box.

If things are left in paper container then wrapping in layers of plastic shrink wrap, then sealing in thick bin liner also works well.

Liquid detergents aren't very long lasting and best used up quickly. Especially if one fancies a particular scent. Have found that's first thing to go with liquid products.

With powdered products long as they haven't turned into a clumpy mess or solid mass they often are good to go.

If not too proud to be seen going through rubbish...

When walking about look for empty plastic bins bulk detergent (such as Kirkland powder) comes in put out for collection. Same containers are used for products such as kitty litter as well. This and or simply ask persons one knows who uses said products to put empty containers aside.
