Those look really good for their age. Very early '06 line. The price is outstanding and some work would be expected (and necessary) at this age. Jetaction (Don) has a set of these, the color is truly beautiful on this style.
I see this is an early Fabric-Matic, but can anyone tell me if it's a 2 speed or single speed model? Also, is that a Suds option next to the water temp switch?
Every MT that I have ever looked at that I can truly recollect to the best of my knowledge when it comes to water levels if the agitator is a four holed unit - there are a choice of 4 water levels on the console.
In the beginning of this post...pic 4 shows what I believe is a 4 holed agitator but I only see three level buttons.....What's the deal here?
just 15 minutes before this thread. I try to group by brand to avoid a plethora of postings. I thought it was odd that only Bob (Appnut) commented on these beautiful MT's that I would love myself. So, the grouping is apparently missing an audience. I'm glad they're being fetched, anyways so, go Travis!
Some of the very early "06" models only had 3 water levels with the large tub. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong) I believe around 67' 68' when wash n were changed to permanent press they added the 4th water level.
did anybody else notice that in picture #4, the agitator skirt has "lump/bump" vanes between the "power fins"?? i just checked my agitator and inbetween the "power fins" the agitator skirt is flat. were the agitators different on the early 806 washers?? or is this a newer agitator??
Yea Ive been depressed all wknd these were gone before I had a chance on them.. I'm gal they're going to a good home, but could not be more perfect for what I'm looking for. As long as they're cosmetically great, I can fix mechanical. : /
I have this agitator and the strange (white mesh) lint filter/ss cap. It's certainly different than the newer powerfin. Now I just need the machine it goes in lol.
If I am not mistaken, not only does the agitator have the "lump/bumps" between the fins. I believe that this agitator is liken to the old Bakelite ones in the fact that the filtering goes down the center of the agitator and under the bottom of it. I think it has a screwed on bottom plate that the water pumps through, so to speak.
I saw you needed to get these to St. Louis. There is a fridge Im looking to buy in St. Louis and will be driving up from Dallas to get it. Have you found a shipper yet?
