Hello

I was wondering if anyone can help, Just picked up a nice Huebsch commercial top loader which I believe is a regadged Speed Queen of some kind, Its a very nice machine and too good to not get it up and running again. Im in the UK and im looking for parts.. one of them being the hot and cold water inlet solenoid valves, I can pick one up cheap enough and have it shipped to me from the US the only problem being they work at 110v and I need one that's 220v, one of the coils has gone open circuit and I can find a few places here in the UK but they want to charge £40-£50!! also being in the UK not many off the shelf valve are 2 (hot-cold) inlet mix to one outlet. I have lashed something up temporarily out of a few old solenoid valves from scrap machines but would like to get the proper part to make it a bit more tidy. Im also looking for a new belt and have no idea what to search for as the machine and model are "rare" in this country so any help would be very much appreciated, I have included some pics in the hope it might help a bit.

Thanks everyone
Eddy

Hello

Hello, I’m a commercial laundry engineer here in the Uk! Im pretty sure I’ve got a set of inlet valves for these somewhere, I will have a look and if I find them you can have them. I can also help with a belt, I will email you when I find the bits and get a belt on the way - will have to buy that in as I don’t have one.

Chris.

Thank you

Hi Chris,

Thanks very much that would be incredibly helpful! It's a pretty basic machine I know but does what it's designed to do very well, We have an almost constant supply of hot water here on the farm from a wood burner in the cooler months and our water comes from a spring so the top loader is perfect! I also have an Asko commercial front loader which had an added coin box on the side which I removed and used the coin slot blanks out of that to put in the Huebsch coin mech to make it free vending. I have been collecting the odd machine from the local caravan sites where the site owners are removing them as they start to get to a certain age. I wonder if the newer offerings will last as long??

Thanks again Chris!

Eddy
