And I'm still waiting for my shutters

It's been 18 weeks since I paid those yahoos a $7000 deposit to install our hurricane shutters, and all we get is the runaround. I'm about ready to say screw it & cancel the contract and brave it 1 more year. The only good thing is we paid the deposit on the Amex, so we can get it back with out too much trouble. (Could to a nice remodel on the cheapo builder grade kitchen!) But I remeber the glass in our large windows bending during Wilma last year, and I really don't want to worry about that this time. It doesn't look like we'll get the shutters in time to do any good this year anyway... I change my mind every time I think about it. New kitchen vs. roof blowing off our house. Argh. LOL it's frustrating. Yeah I know Wilma was no katrina, but it could just as easily be us this year. Hopefully it will be nobody this year.
