I found this cute little washing machine that is up for sale, well actually it's free of charge. It's a West German made toploader Husqvarna QW 401. It looks so great and well taken care of, also it seems very heavy (85 kg) which I guess is a sign of good quality. It's been on the site for a month, I wrote to the current owner and I really hope it's still available. The problem is there is literally no info about this machine on the net at all. Does anyone have any information?

I would guess it has no suspension, but I don't care. I would not mind that the spin is slow either. I love the buttons and controls on it and the oldschool quality look. I hope it has that ticking clock sound to it :) Really want an old toplaoder, so tired of the laundry room in my highrise building (I have only 3 bookings per month because there are hundreds of people living in the building). Btw, is it generally true that top loaders of the European kind are more long lasting than the front loaders? What is your experience? Thanks for the previous answers! Appreciated. Have a great evening/day!
