Long story short, I traded another member on this site some old-timey TV stuff. This became feasible when I flew to Orlando for a vacation, bought a minivan, and drove back to Michigan.

Just the big combo console has remote (1963). The blonde is Zenith's first consumer color chassis from late 1961.

I've been into and following vintage audio for 40 years, but some of these old roundie color TVs are slowly drawing me in ... it's just a matter of time!

My folks would be called "late adopters" these days, they didn't get color TV until 1972, the year I graduated college! So we missed the roundie era completely, but I remember being so jealous of friends' families who had them!! Especially Zenith and RCA.
