On My Jenn-Air Cook-Top Last week, I had used the single spit rotisserie years ago and decided it was too slow and use the rotisserie in the oven under the broiler element instead, but the shish kabob really worked well and only took 20 minutes or so to get everything cooked nicely.

Whats everyone else been cooking lately ?

It's great! What time is

the bbq John? We finally went to my sister Elaine (whom you met up at Calvalcade) two years ago) and Marty's place on Grosse Ille a few weekends back. It's very quaint and queit there. Deer rome the properties.
One of theses days I'll get up to Kevin and Ralph's.

No pix but I pressure cooked some large country style pork ribs in the low, wide 6-qt. Mirro-Matic last night for taco and burrito meat. I made a hybrid sofrito and threw in a cup of chicken broth. I love how the meat turns out so succulent and practically falls off the bone after 20 minutes at 15# of pressure. Better than carnitas and you don't have to deal with an entire pork shoulder.

Not cooking as much right now..

Now that we can go to a restaurant I have taken a little break from so much cooking. But I did make a good breakfast one morning when I was feeling particularly energetic.

I roasted some peppers in the air fryer, fried some potatoes and made some eggs. It wasn't too bad.

Oh and I did make a pizza that turned out pretty well.

I remember back in the 80s pining over having a Jenn Air stove with those rotiserries and shish kebabers and griddle plates The other half telling me that if I went along with us buying the house in the country I could get myself one. Well that never came to be, the house did, but not the Jenn Air. I replaced the p.o.s GE builder grade dishwasher with a Miele instead.

Ralph,

the pizza looks yummy too! I grilled pizza yesterday on the grill with a teflon mat.
I preheated it to 400 f., then to low when I put the pie on. Closed the lid, and 18 minutes it was done.
