I’ve contacted this seller in the past and I’m not convinced they actually have it or intend to sell it. I think they’re using it to attract business for their other items. They flaked on me completely.

That was the green of our '58 lady with porcelain cabinet. Color was discontinued so we got a Sears' deal on it. Those were the days when neighbors would come over to look at your new washer.

There's no breaking in houses in this neighborhood, you can't walk the dog without being "watched" on property surveillance cameras.  

 

Delivery day is fun to catch, always slow down to peer into the truck.  

Open houses, estate sales, for sale listing pics online.  It's rare to see anything interesting, the WP/KM direct-drive is about as vintage as it gets.  LG is very popular.

I share your disgust with the meager pickings.  Who would've thought 20-30 years ago, that the bland Kenmores and Whirlpools would end up being the "last of the good ones" shall we say?

  

Just doing a review.... from the  80s to about 2000 in the U.S., about the only choices were a Whirlpool made, GE made, or Maytag topload washer.  Am I correct?  It wasn't until early 2000s that front-loaders started to really pop.  So everything older is white on white, toploading and mostly Whirlpool made because the GE's up to mid 90s didn't last, and Maytag was a more expensive niche.

GM Frigidaire was available into the early 1980s.  WCI brands (incl Frigidaire when GM dumped it).  Amana & SQ.  WCI produced frontloaders during that period, Westy & FriGEmore.  Maybe not all good choices, but they were available as a choice.
