So I finally felt like messing with all this annoyingness of resizing pictures and everything else with posting pictures.

compactc9 ...

I get the distinct vibe that your house is spotlessly clean!

Great collection...I don't know what a Supervac is, but I like it.

Its a kind of commercial Kirby thing, they are appearantly rare. I have only seen 2 in person.

love the Kirby "Supervac"-would be nice if they were still made.Looks like a nozzle from a Royal Classic coupled to a Kirby Classic motor unit. These machines would have been good "Deal closers" for Kirby salesmen to use for stubborn customers or as a second unit.

Nice Collection!

Finally I got acquainted with a RICCAR. TYVM
Is the grey piece the *back end* that exhausts air?

I would imagine it's, by definiton, something that S---- really well. I wonder how long until it is adopted as a screen-name..LOL

Lots of questions.

First one, they gray plastic thing on the side of the central vac, there are 2 of them one is right behind the other. They are the mufflers for the exausts. There are 2 because the unit has 2 motors.

Second one, The red and white canister is a Health-More Princess canister, like a cheaper Filter Queen.

Third, that is a polished metal Silver King next to the Fairfax, not a WaterMatic.

Holy freaking vacuum collection! That's awesome, man. Thanks for the pics. Vacuums aren't my main area of interest, but your collection is v. impressive. If you turn them all on at once does it alter the force of gravity, LOL?

Wow, what an awesome collection Reggie, you certainly have a lot of machines!! LOVE the Clarke 500 upright...where did you find that beauty?? I like the Kirby Supervac...weren't those made under the name "American Lincoln"? That 16" Sanitronic-style nozzle is just wild!

I have the Kirby ComVac 1300 from either 1982 or 1983, same design but dark grey and a 13" nozzle instead. It currently has a Heritage bag on it, sans Sani-Emptor. Another one of those "bojack" disposable bag conversions...:(

Nice Riccar central vacuum as well. Our house is a little small for a system (only 2300 sq. ft), I plan to install one in my future "dream home". I remember trying out the (literally) dozens of central vacuums at the home builder's show when I was 7 years old...need to do it again!! At the time I thought the Vacuflo machines were super-cool, probably because of the transparent demo Turbocat nozzle...

The Clarke actually was a trade in at the shop I work in. I had to make new carbon brushes for it too. The SuperVac was called the American Lincoln too. They also had the Janitronic, but I have never seen one of these. The bag on your ComVac is original. Mine originally had a similar setup in white vinyl, and the vacuum still has the original metal bag connector, but the rest is a replacement.
