found this on craigs list for 50 bucks.. have always wanted one the guy even hauled it over to the house.. but.. it was total trash so i called the junk man to haul it off for scrap.. the cooler was shot the shelves were rotten the body was crap all the screws were rotten so it has to go

so i trashed the fridg..but.. then as luck would have it i found a guy who had a whole garage full.. so i called him..met him and picked one out.. got it home plugged it in and it runs like a dream.. the body is all porcelain and everything works.. am so happy this one is like a dream fridg ha ha

the fridg has all it shelves and drip tray and even the door for the cooler unit all she need is her top painted but is an awesome fridg

Monitor tops have always been my favorite fridges and I've owned a few and have friends who still do. These are great machines, nearly silent and run forever. Enjoy yours, Chris. You've got one from the period where they seem to last the longest of any. Good thing I'm not in the St. Louis area or my partner would be howling right about now . . .

the westy is still there.. and its heavy.. but in thinkin bout it.. ha ha.. that guy has a whole bunch more.. so if anyone is close or gonna visit st louis you may want to at least check them out.. if not take one home with you

poor baby is stuck in the garage till i can clean out the wash room a bit..id really like to keep her in the house but will have to work on it.. youll have to come on by and have a nice cold beer with me..
