I got me a "new" coffee maker

Ever since I saw that post on here showing the new KitchenAid vacuum coffee maker I wanted to find one, but the steep price of $250 was a little too much for me, especially since I'd only use it occasionally. I found this fun old Silex brewer while scouting around and snatched it up. It appears to be unused. The cloth filter is new and it still has the cardboard sleeve around the bottom tube. Most of the ones I've seen don't have an adjustable heat base like this one does. I have no idea of how old it is, late 40's/early 50's? I like the fact that it's white, not black. Wish me luck.

What a score! This is in beautiful condtion, in fact looks like its new. And the Anyheet control is very rare. This will undoubtedly be better than a new Kitchenaid vac pot. Have fun with it and enjoy.
