As many of you know, I am in the midst of building a home in Wytheville Virginia. While I have a homes in Roanoke, and West Virginia, Gary and I have been staying in Wytheville in my warehouse, to keep a closer eye on the construction process. In the warehouse I have a beautiful Coppertone Flair that I am using to cook on which I cleaned and restored a few months ago. The Heat Minder eye and the speed heat eye work perfectly. I haven't used the meat probe yet, but I'm sure it works well too. I LOVE that stove!!! But, most of all what I really enjoy using, is the KitchenAid portable dishwasher that Roanoke Robert (aka LadyKenmore) found for me on the side of the road!!! After using the Dacor in Roanoke, the Meile in Roanoke, and the new KitchenAid in West Virginia, it was such a breath of fresh air to use that OLD KitchenAid!!! I had forgotten how really wonderfully they washed. Now I wish that I had found two old ones for my new kitchen. Mark Lightedcontrols

Mark,
Do you mean to tell us that in your thousands of machines you don't have 2 old KA dws? I think there are a few people around here that could help you out with that!

well actually.....

.....Gary and I ARE living in the warehouse! He has decorated the handrail with lights, and we have a lit multi-colored wreath on the door! We stay at the warehouse 5 days a week and then back to the Roanoke house or the West Virginia house for the weekend. We're spending Christmas in the West Virginia house. Haven't had the time though to get the W. Va. home decorated yet. My Interior Designer from Tampa, Florida has been in all week finalizing some things in the new house, so we've been tied up with that. The Holidays are here and I'm NOT READY!!!!!!!!! U G H ! ! ! ! Hmm, you finally being tied up, this I WANNA SEE!! I know it's stressful and pulling you in all sorts of directions. Much love, Bob

Mark,
Sounds like your are so busy!
What is the model of your Kitchenaid Portable Dishwasher that you are using? Is it a Superba?
I have been looking for ages for a Portable Kitchenaid.
I think I have two of the last Hobart Superba's that we could talk a deal? Humm.....
Been dying to come up and see you guys anyway!
Happy Holidays!
Brent

Hi Brent!

I will check the exact model of the KitchenAid. I know it's a Hobart Superba. This model is harvest gold and does not have the Party Cycles. The ONLY flaw in this machine is a little rust on the outside corner of the door. Inside, the machine is flawless. It also has the butcher block top. If you want the machine, we CAN talk a deal, but I'm not giving it up until I'm out of the warehouse! Mark

LOL!
Let's talk soon.
Betty Butterfield was asking about you yesterday. I told her you were still going to church and keeping the faith.
Then she asked me if you still was going to the Super Walmart.
What is up with that?
Brent

I too would love new "old" Hobart KA to replace the almost new one that's in this house, if not I'll replace it with another Miele sometime. You saw my other post on the troubles it's having trying to heat the water I still haven't completely resolved, now it seems to have an annoying motor whine. I'm not sure that noise was there when we first moved in or not or if it's just my imagination being multiplied on account of the machines other shortcomings. Anyways this new one is NOT the KA of old by a long shot. Everytime I open the door and see that heating element I cringe. LOL I really do.. tell me I'm not going insane. hahaha

You Might Laugh, BUT...

My headboard for the bed is a Norge, and Gary's is a 1-18. Could life get ANY better??????? Mark
