What I don't understand is....
If you look at Tide's website, there are like 16 versions of tide, just in liquid alone. Years ago,(1970's) There was Tide, plain and simple and did a great job. That's all my mother used (well, occasionally a box of cheer). Why does the public need 16 different varients? Instead of all of these, they should go back to basics. Tide, Cheer, Gain, Oxyadol, Bold and Dash. I LOVED Dash when I moved out on my own. So for me, instead of feeding the P&G horse, I have discoved Great Value Detergent with Purex Softener. The Purex softner (mountain breeze) kinda reminds me of Sta-Puf. Gawd I miss Sta-Puf. I have also found the Great Value Dishwasher Detergent works great in my Bosch dishwasher. I will try the Wisk again, but miss it being that Thick Blue liquid is was back then with the great scent. My Mom did always keep a bottle of that on her shelf in the laundry room for really dirty jeans us kids would produce from playing outside all the time. Not to mention the price that they want for Tide now. I was a Publix here yester and it was on sale for $10.99!!!--%11 for a 100oz bottle or 80 load poweder. TOO STEAP FOR MY BLOOD.[this post was last edited: 8/3/2010-15:24]
