I lost my father on Tuesday to Parkinson's disease. He was battling this for 5 years and Pneumonia set in. The reason I'm sharing this with you is because if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't know half as much about mechanical things as I do. Anytime anything broke, he would fix it with me by his side showing me the way (especially the 1966 Kenmore which I remember the two of us replacing the belt and the wig-wag). He was a wonderful gentile, loving man strong in our Greek Orthodox faith. He was a wonderful father, husband and grandfather (Papou) to my little girl. I wish more men nowadays were like him. I will truly miss him.
