I love my retro things, including my old phones, and especially, my old Big Ben, with the best alarm in the world, it chimes! As Robert would say"How Fabulous is that!" It has stopped working, I knew it would have to be done, does anyone know anyone that can restore my Fabulous alarm clock?

Here is what I would do with your Big Ben. Find a local clock repairman and take it there. The clock may need to be cleaned and may need new bushings. After that is done then a new oiling and the clock should be ticking away. Hope this helps, Gary

If you can, find an older Mom & Pop type jeweler. We had one here in Wausau to whom I took many watches, clocks etc. that I was told were unfixable. He always managed to get whatever it was back in perfect working order again. Too bad he finally retired last fall, I sure do miss him. He was very old school in his business methods.

I also have a mantle clock that needs repair. It won't stay ticking for more than five minutes and I've tried everything. I have a list of clock repairers. I'll do some calling around and let you know what I come up with.

and in the meantime if you run across any other old big bens cheap buy a couple, they may contain a part you need to fix your good one.
