I NEED HELP!!! Kitchen Aid KDS 15 Help!

Well, I finally got around to hooking up the KDS 15.....No water would come in so I started with the pressure switch...you guessed it its bad, it says NM then next, 731-603 made 12-64, does anyone have such a critter they would sell me, im also going to have to replace the rubber tube that leads to the pressure switch as well as the fill tube, both are brittle..any help would be appreciated..Here are a few pics.It really looks like new, I hope i can get it going!

I manually filled it and ran it, no drips and ran fine.

What a beautiful machine Hans! The inside looks like new.

Maybe the pressure switch went bad early on and so the machine didn't get used like it otherwise would have?

After holiday dinners, we would put the Load 'n Lift rack and the inset pan of the Westinghouse Roaster Oven right in the middle of the bottom rack for a thorough cleaning on Full Cycle. All we had to do at the end was tip the pan to drain the standing water. There was nothing to scour because the nice browned drippings from the bird were cooked into the gravy. Once the gravy was all put together, we set the LnL rack down into position and simmered away what was stuck to it into the gravy. Making gravy is the most delicious way to clean a pan.

bought that exact model around 1965, it was their first dishwasher, and as I always had to dry before we got it, I was immediately in love with it and with all dishwashers... and still am! KDS-15s are fabulous machines.

Hans, when you replace the switch and tubing, you MUST make sure that you have the same exact length of tubing as the original tubing. If it is too long or too short, it will have an effect on the water level in the machine. Since it is a pressure switch, you need to have the correct volume of air pressing on the internals of the switch for it to protect properly.

The dishwasher of my childhood. It can clean anything. Also if you open it while it's on and stick a fork in the door switch, the water will shoot from the kitchen to almost the front door. Ah, fun memories.

It was fun holding the door switch when it first started and seeing the fill water come in and then the little fountains of water pulsing up through the lower rack before it was time to stop it and close the door.
