I think I found Miele stands?

I went to one of the bigger appliance showrooms today to see if they had any stands for my W1918. I thought using Tom's idea of concrete blocks was O.K. but my partner said it was too ugly!

So...they have two different sets of "older" miele stands for $99.00 for the two (great, now I have to find a matching dryer). The one set has a solid metal front and holes to fasten the machine,and 4 leveling legs. I belive it measured 23 1/4" X 21 1/4.

The other set of stands are more open between the corners. They have a a flange of sorts that you seem to slip in the feet of the machine (front or rear). The bottom of these stands do not have levelling feet. They measure 23 1/4 X 19 1/4.

So I've come home and measured the base of mine and it seems that the second pair are the ticket. BUT, I don't want to buy the wrong ones because there is no return.

Does anybody have stands for their W1918? Any adverts with pics.

If you call Miele or go to their website with the "T-" numbers, you should be able to cross reference the stands. Miele Germany is offline right now...but I got a "hit" for the W1918 laundry stand at the link below...bet if you give them a call, they can help you with the part number you'd need.
Kinseher, a very large parts supplier here in Germany lists a UK made stand as being appropriate for this machine, so all is not lost if you can't find the exact model.
Me, I'd go with Toms's solution. Have lived with Mieles off and on for decades and all of them liked a firm foundation under their feet when dancing, er, spinning.

Your partner needs to give Tom credit for his brilliance and assume that the base can be properly decorated to please even the most dainty queen. These are washing machines we are talking about, ladies...not Louis XIV furniture...

Be careful and verify the stands with Miele. $99 for two is very suspiciously inexpensive for Miele stands. I paid twice that a few years ago, not that I shopped for the best deal, but given the heavy gauge steel and the shipping and the value of the Dollar to the Euro, I would be suspicious. The stands for the W1918 and the W1986 (which is longer front to back, just like the 6kg machine itself) have holes for the legs of the machine and leveling feet on the bottom. These are very heavy, like "hard to lift" heavy. The leveling legs come off the machine and there are bolts with a wide rubber pad in the middle that screw into the holes for the leveling feet on the bottom of the washer and then are secured with lock nuts through the holes in the top of the pedestal. The rubber pad eliminates metal to metal vibration. Then the leveling legs are installed on the bottom of the pedestal, screwed as far in as possible and tightened. Once you upright the machine and position it, the legs are adjusted, if necessary, and then the nuts tightened. This makes a very secure base for the washer. I would not put my new washers on the concrete blocks, either, but where my old Miele was located because of the 220 volt line, it needed to be raised higher than the pedestal would lift it in order to reach the drain.
