i wonder how this direct drive whirlpool would look like with a warm rinse true water level wash and rinse and non atc temp

i have been wondering how this whirlpool direct drive washer do not remember the exact model number or serial number but all i know is that it was the last washer my grandmother on my dad side of the family own before her ilness and if i base the fact that its only my mom and myself going vintage refurbish as new in the direct drive group this would be the perfect washer @Chetlaham also posted a closeup of the controls for you

I've always hated how cluttered and over-labelled that knob wash. In fact this is probably my least favorite Whirlpool control panel style. However, with fewer lettering its not bad at all.

What cycles and combinations do you want to see?


Heavy is hot/warm

Normal is warm/warm

Causal is warm/cold

Knits could be either cold/warm or cold/cold.

Press care defaults all rinses to cold.

i so agree i use this model washer once in 2008 to wash one of my shirts that was high color bleed on perm press at my grandmother place when she was still alive and own the place i would of merge the hand wash cycle and delicate and put an agitation wash spin speed selector and i adore

There is an air dome and hose on the left side of the tub for the over-fill pressure switch and a air dome and hose on the right side of the tub for the user selectable water level switch.

The only thing that I don't care for in that rear view is.....
The external wiring harness and external overflow switch.
If according to current electrical codes, all electrical wiring must be internal.

The actually rear of the machine where hoses are attached does not have any exposed wires or components.
