Back when I worked in hotels, we were always treated to the grim spectre of "HOTEL FIRE!" - a movie which highlighted such horrendous tragedies as the MGM Grand, Beverly Hills Supper Club, etc. It was a good message to pound home, because fire is always a danger in hotels (although less now that people tend to not smoke as much), but it was a bit over-the-top at times. It was also dated enough so that all the narrating firemen had big bushy 70's mustaches and what one would today think of as "porn hair"
But the best movie, hands down, was Sheraton's back when it was part of the ITT empire, and our main mission seemed to be building hotels in countries that were about to have "revolutions" that always came out in ITT's favor ;-)
Sheraton had specific movies for every department, and the sales and catering office movie had leisure suited guys leaving their cigarettes smouldering in the big ashtrays on their desks, and mini-skirted secretaries (with Marsha Brady Hair) having mishaps with IBM selectrics and Four-drawer file cabinets. The only thing they missed was the danger of overdosing on Liquid Paper.
No "three-fingered joes" or folksy intro songs though.
