Many years ago, near Christmas, I had purchased some Centura from a nice lady in Hinesville, GA. We communicated a bit because that is near where Camp Stewart, now Fort Stewart is located. During a part of WWII, my father was stationed there so this lady and I wrote back and forth. Well, her package was supposed to be delivered by UPS and showed that it had been delivered, but I did not have it. I called UPS, but all they could tell me was that it had been delivered. A couple of weeks later she wrote me about more Centura, but I told her I was feeling a little iffy about buying more at that time because of the delivery problem. She had the tracking information. I do not know exactly what she did, but she contacted me a day or two later saying that she had UPS search the truck that was supposed to have delivered her package to me and they found that it was still on the truck. Whether the driver was holding it to steal or had just lost it, I don't know, but it was delivered in perfect shape and I went ahead and bought more of her Centura. Talk about a steel magnolia or a tiger mother; she was one southern lady who knew how to fight to protect her customers. I'm also willing to bet that a certain UPS driver was closely watched for a while, if not fired and all trucks at that station were more closely inspected at the end of the delivery day. As a lady at the Beltsville Post Office said once, "You can get fired behind something like that."
