Oh... yes but non immediately... I mean not this week of course.
Nextly perhaps a video with the load should be done, but I'm waiting for a friend help to fix the drum closing...I'm not let the machine going with any clothes until the drum is not fixed...this to prevent any demage!

Be patient...of course other video and other pics are coming soon!

The spin...

Here you are the spin...The lightblue lidswitch is a deviator, whet you open it the machine swap from spin speed into wash speed in the same direction. The sliding lidswitcht is not bypassed but as it doesn't work well you can make the machin run even if it's opened! I suppone it spins at 600rpm

Awesome video! I never saw a similar lid switch. Most machines just stop when you open the lid. Very funny to see the machine go into wash speed.

I honestly assume that this might have to be the today's correspondant spin-off pushbutton... to avoid the spin you had just to shut the sliding...and let the machine go with a low speed spin provided with the wash speed with this lid opened!
The only (I suppore) hidden option

I admire how quickly and well you've got this machine working. I hope you can fix the drum lids so you can do a proper maiden wash in her soon!

Just be careful with your fingers on that rotating drum... I love how old machines can be a bit scary like that!

Hi Diomede, well done on getting your dream machine working, I love the sounds as it drives the wash basket along, was surprised to see the level of water, although that would have the "tradizionalisti di lavatrice" clapping their hands with glee!!!

You had me gasping with your fingers near that cheese grater drum...Oohhh, careful as you go...

It looks such a simple solid design, you can see why it still runs today, thank you for sharing your experience with us, enjoy, Mike

Simon don't worry about my fingers I only pull and push the sliding handle...I'm not crazy enough to touch the drum rotating in wash neither in spin of course!

Thank you Mike and for have write for me in Italian either it's fair good! Yes, the level is high but consider that the machine has not a load inside so no items to absorbe the water which would decrease I thinks under the 30-40% of the drum...

Oh, my dear friends if I have had to do a restoration just like those I saw here during these year it would have took me for this machine I think few months considering the job only during my spare time...but I decided to quickly get it working so fixing only the most important brakings...3 or 4 intervents and the machine is working again...but I'm too far from considering this one a restoration with capital "R" This might be done nexlty in future starting with the outertub wich is the most weak part of this machine eventually to be completely changed! The cabinet then it was just cleaned up and then:
- new draining pump;
- a hole in the outer tub has been tapped;
- new inlet valves;
- heating elements cleaned up and replaced;

To be done:
- the timeline indicators to be done;
- the detergent compartements lid to be repainted;
- new ON lamp;
- a drum lids blocking system to be build.
- what else?! I didn't want to completely disassemble the machine just now...

Great video, what a cool and different machine. I really like the pushbuttons along the top.

And the sliding screen above the drum that is a nice touch, my Staber had a locking lid so you couldn't play around at all!
