Well, the long distance relationship has now turned to a very short distance relationship. Notice my location!

I get to see Bri every day now! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

new digs

Glad you made it there to happiness!

By the way, I forget, did this start out as a "long distance Internet" romance?

OMG - Jason, you're a turncoat!!!!

Hey dude!

Glad to see you made it to the land of tea parties and frostbite!! I am so happy for you and Brianne! Now....my wish for you both is to find the perfect 1970's ranch home; complete with paneling and burnt orange shag carpeting!

BTW - Hayley now has a mouse. You knew it would happen, right? ;-)

Congrats and whew!!!!!!!

Hi Jason, welcome to the Northland. We're glad you joined us. If you are anything like me you are going to love living in a true four season climate, there is nothing better!

I looked up Groton, MA on Google Maps and here is the satellite image of the town, its looks like a wonderful place to live. Contrats to both you and Bri.

Appnut: Thanks for the kind words and prayers. You sure helped me alot when I was lonely. Now I'm praying you'll find someone to love. People with CP can find love too ;-) . My Bri is a testament to that.

Kenmore: Yup. It's love at first email. Internet love turned real.

Venus: SHAME! I ain't no damn yankee. I'm a displaced CAJUN (A-EEEE!). Actually, a 50s ranch home would be the bomb because Bri wants a 50s kitchen. So why not get the REAL thing? As far as the 70s, that's for the basement. Brown paneling, red shag carpet, bean bags, lava lamps, Kenmore 800 set.

YAY for Hayley. She should get two mice. Mice and rats like to come in pairs. They need a friend of their own kind when Hayley isn't around. Lonely is the single rat. Mice aren't as smart as rats but they're darn close. Mice and rats are the best entertainment you can get (besides a pair of cats).

Town

Yup, that's Groton. These little new england towns are so peaceful and lovely.

Yes, and spring has sprung over here. The flowers are starting to bloom and it's getting warmer :-) .

The humidity outside is like 11% or something. THAT'S UNHEARD OF in New Orleans. Around this time of year, NO is like 80degrees and 100% humidity. Crank up the AC. Over here, you just open a window.

Congratulations...glad you've made the big move! What are you currently washing with up in MA? There probably isn't a shortage of cool collections & machines up here..:)

Hetties, of course!

I now use Bri's mom's white He3 set :-) . Yay for front loaders. Goodbye Sir Frigemore and good riddance The General. Hello future Kenmore 800s.

Jasonl

Jason i wish you and Brianne ALL the BEST, seems like that afternoon at Todd's was just last week. Your right about the heat and humidity its exactly as you described... a/c spinning the meter right now :-) Arthur. P.S. Did you and the guy come to terms on your Louisiana house?

Ah, Jason, you're up north to take my place; good, I best be skipping on off to California now then! ;-)

I hope this turns out to be a wonderful move for you in every way.

Congratulations and best wishes to both you and Bri. I know that you are glad that they move is over. Are you living in an apartment now? Enjoy Spring!! Terry

Internet Romance

Wow, after all the horror stories I'd heard about Internet/Long Distance romances, I KNEW SOMEBODY had to have found happiness with the method. Restores my faith in the honesty of people and warms my heart.

Congratulations on your move, and though it will be hard to replace New Orleans (my favorite southern city, bar none!), at least you're above sea level and with your sweetie. Hope you find that '50s kitchen and spend many happy days in it!

Congratulations Jason and Bri

Jason,

Welcome to Massachusetts! Hope you love it here, fortunately the weather is starting to finally warm up. Groton is a great place to live. I'm down the road in Worcester. Hope we get to meet.

Rich

Old Home Week!

Hey, Rich!
I grew up in Lunenburg--not too far from Worcester.
Haven't been back since <year deleted!>, so I don't know if it's even still standing!

Hey yeah! We need to do some wash? Jetcone? Gregm? We should meet up and get some vintage washing going.

From the land of rust to the land of love.

Wash In Imminent

Hi Jason welcome to the BayState! Yes a wash in is coming up shortly!

I have had such a banner winter I am overloaded with vintage machines! I haven't even had time to post the pics of all the machines I have hauled in this winter. I need to get 3 machines up and running and that will happen soon so I will keep you posted about a wash in.

Greg?? when are YOU opening up your new basement for a wash in??

Jet
