Life would be easier if you'd install a loading dock or better yet a floor type elevator in the garage down to the basement like on an aircraft carrier, then you could just drive them right in.

I could always enclose the deck at the back of my house and do a greenhouse kinda thing. The deck is 24X12, lots of room for vintage appliances.
I was commenting to my roomate the other day that we hardly used the deck last year. I had it built in 2004, and it was my place to go drink my coffee, smoke, and read the paper weekend mornings. Now that I've quit smoking I hardly go out there, except take the garbage out.
I wish I had a garage!!
