That's not a game console, it's a computer! I had an 800XL for a while at one of the offices. Wish I had kept it. Those diskette drives tended toward being flaky, though.
That's the same model my sister had in her first townhouse in the HOuston Galleria area in 1978 or early 1979. This same model was used by one of the builders in the subdivision where I bought my first home.
I had a similar GE that was a bit older. (Basically the same, but with the control knob on the door below the woodgrain plastic) It worked great, always. Sadly the tub rusted out.
It was a water-hog and still is. BRING IT ON.
Bottom-line: You need water to wash well. PERIOD.

In mine the silverware basket is FINALLY to the side and the stepped up platform in the rear (from yesteryear) is finally gone. The washtower extends up through an open *RING* in the lower rack. It finally falls flat and stores/rests in itself.
Althrough the top rack only has one inch (2.5cm) tines in the middle of it, the rack does fit huge pots up there real nice.
