I'm getting my gas range swapped out on Sunday and need to pick up a gas connector and it's a little more confusing than I expected. (The "new" range is actually a 1999 Hotpoint.)
I think I need to get one of the yellow connectors, but not positive. And maybe I used the wrong search terms but I get a lot of returns referencing gas dryers and gas water heaters too.

Questions:

1. I'm assuming I should get a 1/2" to 1/2"?
2. How long of a connector? A 24" would work but I think I should get a 36" so I can safely pull the range out from the wall if needed. Or should I go with a 48"?
3. Should I buy any extra fittings just in case they're needed? I can return them if they're not.

Or please just tell me the exact thing I need to buy at ACE or Lowe's?! 😁
