In the absence of a chatroom, I was just wondering if we could MSN / Gmail chat etc eachother ?

Since the Automatic Washer.org site has no chat room, I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in adding each other to our MSN, Yahoo Chat, Gmail chat etc lists.

I would suggest that we could post our IDs on this thread, but make sure they're not open to 'spam harvesting' by removing the "@" and replacing it with the words "at" and putting spaces into the address.

If anyone then wants to add someone wants to add someone else, they can just delete the spaces etc and add.

There use to be a chat room. Is it gone now? I don't have the link for it anymore or I would check it.

The dedicated chat room used previously was run by me, at the ISP where I worked. Being as the business shut down April 2007, that chat room is gone.

However, there are free chat services where a room can be set up ad-hoc for gatherings, or one can register an account and create a more permanent chat.

Trillian IM Chat ..............

Trillian looks to me a program which (at very quick glance) appears to be almost the exact same thing as MEEBO.com, except with MEEBO you do NOT have to download anything!

Meebo is a web-based program where you can log into any of the chat-messengers. You can even do video chats, if you are into that.
