...I have taken an image of the A3060 Electronic 1100 and created what I think/assume the seemingly extinct Hoover A3064 Selectamatic may have looked like.
Having had a look at the official service manual to gain a basic idea of what the components of the basic facia looked like, I have grafted the design onto the facia of the A3060.
With the A3064 being from the same series as the A3060 and A3062 Keymatic, I have assumed that the colouring would have been the same and hence left the lining and other standard features.
The top machine is a basic template, whilst the bottom one has, using the buttons from the advert, got blank lights coloured grey.
I did wonder whether the A3064 had a time line like the A3114 Selectamatic, but the service manual shows five lights.
I would assume these would have a slight glow when deactivated, but haven't tried to add colour as they would appear too bright.
By all means, if you know what the colours were and the order they appeared in, then have a go at painting them in.
I have no doubt asked this before, but ANY (said with emphasis - not shouting) information on the A3064 would be GREATLY (as before) appreciated. It seems that this machine has totally disappeared from the face of the earth.
a quick search on google UK for 'selectamatic A3064' gives 0/zero hits! seems this machine has vanished from the UK.
and finally a question i should have asked at the start - can anyone confirm that the images below are a good likeness of the real thing?
fingers crossed.
