A friend is moving abroad and bought this before Xmas, seems a nice washer? Would you stay clear.. she is offering it to me for £130 still under warranty obviously.

My sister has had a BOL Indesit for 6yrs doing 3 BIG loads a day and it hasn't missed a beat apart for a new door as the old one was damaged when she moved. My sister is a chronic overloader but her machine copes well.

Seems a genuine bargain...

I haven't had any good experiences with Indesit but I think you should grab a bargain as you friend has genuine reasons for getting rid of this appliance.

From what I'm reading some people have been lucky with them and you might very well be one of them regardless of whether you buy this product brand new or second hand (semi-new in this case).

Did you decide on whether to go for the Indesit in the end?

Im not a massive fan of Indesit's modern machines (though my Parents early 90's Indesit was very reliable) but i should think with only one person to wash for this modern machine should last relatively well.

There are a good few Indesits on eBay currently that are still running at 2-3 years old, which whilst nothing to be especially proud of, is better than i thought they might've done & equal to some more pricier options!

We had an indesit in a rental place and it was a perfectly adequate washing machine. It produced excellent results but it was really noisy and the build quality wasn't great.

However, they're very cheap so I guess it is very much a case of getting what you pay for.

we hd an indesit dishwasher once...was the worst dishwasher ever. but my dads boss has an old indesit washer. not sure how often he washes but it seems to be going strong
